Bears Cottage is part of Plas Lligwy Farm Holiday Cottages and provides a peaceful get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The cottages have an enviable position to take advantage of not just Anglesey’s countryside and coastline but also Snowdonia National Park which is within an hour’s drive. The close proximity to all of North Wales provides a huge range of interests and activities for all members of the family and makes for a fun filled holiday whatever the weather!

The holiday cottages enjoy a secluded and peaceful location just a short walk from Lligwy Bay, a wonderful sandy beach shown below.

Located on Plas Lligwy Farm are an interesting set of ruins - a neolithic burial chamber, a medieval church and Din Lligwy - an ancient fortified homestead last occupied 16 centuries ago

The small fishing village of Moelfre which is just a couple of miles away. Anglesey offers an interesting mix of towns and villages with facilities from antiques and boutiques, gift shops as well as art galleries not to mention the livestock markets for those that are interested!

Eating out on Anglesey and the surrounding area is easy as there is a wide range of eating establishments available from cafes and takeaways to restaurants , pubs and bistros, something for everyone’s taste and pocket.
